MacSpeech Dictate
MacSpeech today announced that their iListen speech recognition product will be replaced by the new MacSpeech Dictate. MacSpeech Dictate will be based on the same recognition engine as Dragon Naturally Speaking. Dragon NS is widely acknowledged as the best continuous speech recognition program for Windows that’s available, and far better than MacSpeech’s existing iListen product for OS X. Having a new MacSpeech program that has all of MacSpeech’s integration with OS X and all of the accuracy of Dragon’s product seems like a dream come true!

Yes! Finally!
Is this definitely happening? Has anyone used it?
For now I’ve been running windows on my Macbook, just to be able to use Dragon, so I’m looking forward to being able to use the Mac side.
It’s the 15th of February today and I haven’t heard otherwise so I’d say it’s definitely happening. I don’t know anybody personally who’s used it, but I’ll be bringing information as soon as it’s available.
