Context Sensing & Assistive Technology Study - Chicago

The Laboratory for Understanding Collaborative Technology at Northwestern University is working on a project to build and evaluate new original technologies for users with disabilities. We are currently recruiting subjects with a variety of impairments (cognitive, sensory or motor) from the local area.

If you live in Chicago and would like to learn more, please visit our official study information and sign-up page for a detailed description of the study. This site includes information about what you will do, how you will be compensated, and how long the study will last. If you have any further questions, please e-mail Chris Karr.

I’ve known Chris Karr since the start of 2008 and he’s a great guy. His project will involve building a piece of Mac OS X software that helps you use the computer better, and you get paid for it! If I was anywhere near Chicago, I’d definitely be signing up for this one. Chris said he’s already got two participants for the study already, so if you’re in the right geographical area I suggest registering right away.
