If you have complex or multiple health conditions, tracking medical health costs and payments and rebates can become nightmarishly complicated. The Medical eXpense Tracking (MXT) program is geared specifically to the system in place in North America.
Medical eXpense Tracking was created to assist the tracking of tax-deductible medical expenses, health insurance annual deductibles, coinsurance limits, co-payments, insurance payments, patient payments, and medical provider account residual balances. MXT can track medical expenses and payments by most insurers, including Medicare. MXT provides the user an interface to record and summarize insurance plan benefit period’s approved charges, deductibles, coinsurance amounts, co-payments, insurance payments, patient payments, and remaining unpaid balances. Accounting is provided for both Primary & Secondary Medical Insurance Policies, Dental Insurance, separate Drug Insurance Plans, and Medicare Parts A, B, & D.
It’s difficult to tell how usable this program is when I don’t understand the relevant laws and needs of users – I’m not in the USA. It sure looks complicated! But complex or multiple health conditions and high healthcare costs often go with disabilities, so I think it’s applicable to the ATMac audience. Does anybody use this program? If so, how did you find it – especially to start with?

I am also curious about this program. I have a portable MacBook but do most of my business work on an Acer PC.
Does anyone know if this application works on the PC?
Similar to the gentleman above, I wouldn’t mind reading any reviews or experiences that anyone else has had with this program.

@Dino: I suggest checking on the linked application page to see if there’s a PC version, but I would be surprised. You could always look around for a similar Windows application though. Good luck.
