I finally spent some time organizing the http://atmac.org/ website and there are some new pages that you might want to look at:
- About Ricky is about me, the assistive technology that I use, and why I started ATMac.
- About ATMac describes the aims of the blog and what I hope to do with it.
- Links has links to all the assistive technology sites that I know about.
- Subscribe tells how you can get the blog to come to you automatically.
- Contact, unsurprisingly, has a bunch of ways to get in touch with me.
I am aware that the current blog layout doesn’t work well once you enlarge the text size in Safari (eg with command-shift-equals), and makes VoiceOver readers listen to each sub-page title before it gets to the posts – appologies for that. I will have to pay extra to WordPress.com where the blog lives before I am allowed to design a custom layout and I can’t find one of their default ones which does everything I need. If it helps anybody with navigation, the post titles are the only thing in H2 level headings – I am unsure whether VoiceOver can skip to these, but it may help.
One day, I’ll have unlimited time and money and energy and … yeah. That’s for my other blog.
- ATMac
