SoundAsleep: Mute Your Computer on a Schedule

A speakerSoundAsleep is a freeware app which will mute and unmute the system sound at times you specify. If you need to leave your computer on at night or when you’re resting, this could be a handy way to make sure you’re not rudely interrupted by an unexpected sound effect or song.

  1. Yeah, its a nice program produced by Nullriver. The problem is that while I, of course, have a Mac my girlfriend has a PC so I need to find a similar tool for Windows XP? I’ve been looking for a “scheduled-mute” solution for XP for a while but have not been able to find it.

  2. @Mike: I really have no idea about Windows versions of things - we just concentrate on Mac programs around here!
