SmartNav 4

The head controlled mouse replacement SmartNav 4 is now available for Mac OS X users thanks to RJ Cooper and Associates. The upgrade can be ordered through RJ Cooper’s website.

I had a visit from Yooralla ComTEC today to trial some new assistive tech hardware. It was hard work but lots of fun, and it looks like there’s something I may be able to use!

SmartNav 4 coming to Mac OS X

SmartNav is a hardware and software package that replaces a regular mouse by tracking small head movements – head tracking. A Mac OS X port of the SmartNav 4 software expected to be released by the end of March.

OSCulator – Motion into music and more!

OSCulator is a “hub” program that lets you connect a variety of unusual input devices to regular music creation programs. You can use touch-screens, Wiimotes, 3D mice, and a host of other devices for input and OSCulator converts the signals from those devices to the desired output.
