Welcome back for 2009! I hope you’ve enjoyed the articles so far.
Taking a break over Christmas was a great idea. I feel refreshed and recharged and generally ready to do lots of fantastic stuff with ATMac in 2009. Thanks to Glenda the Left Thumb Blogger for giving me the idea.
It looks like I’ll be getting an iPod Touch for my birthday in February, so I’ll have another entire range of apps and add-ons to play with and review. I’m really happy about that. The first thing I’m looking at is iPod Touch cases – what’s the best case to prevent me dropping the gadget, and to make sure it’s protected as far as possible if I do drop it?
I know some readers have iPhones and iPod Touches. What do you look for in a case? What case do you have, if any? Leave a comment and let me know.

I don’t use a case for my iPhone (yeah, bad girl) but the main things I’d look for in a case is:
* Ease of insert and removal.
* Not too bulky.
* Access in-case to every button and port on the case
* Does not obstruct any sound coming from the device
* Can interact fully with the screen while the device is in the case (without any case-induced hinderances).
If I have to remove the case from any device for any reason, I’m likely to throw the case in a box and go caseless.

I don’t have one, but I think it’s a great idea to get a case that has that soft, screen-cleaning cloth lining the inside. Then you get a nice clean screen every time you put your device in it’s case!
